The Reapers Are the Angels - Alden Bell

I suppose I should elaborate.

The beginning was brilliant. Loved the imagery, really impressed. Temple's a great character. Really enjoyed the writing style. Then the zombie road trip began, and that was about it.

The imagery was still wonderful, but nothing came to fruition. I get the references to Angels and the Fallen, and their children: the Nephilim; the giants, but it wasn't enough for me. The descriptive scenes: rolling eyeballs and rotting bodies, grew repetitive. The ending just made me mad.

That said, I'll definitely look out for more books by this author, because I think he can really write. Just not books in this series
